Remote Learning

Our chosen platform for any remote learning is Google Classroom.

When children join us, they are automatically given an email address that allows them to access all of our online learning tools.  Class teachers will make sure that children and parents know what the email address and password is.  If you get stuck with this, please contact us and we’ll be able to check the login details and reset the password.

In school, we use the Google Classroom in some lessons.

In the event of learning becoming remote, children will be expected to access Google Classroom and check the learning that their class teacher will have uploaded. Children in Year R will receive communication through Tapestry.

Scenarios where remote education would be considered
  • School closures or restrictions on attendance, where school access for pupils is restricted
  • Individual cases where a pupil is unable to attend school but is able to learn
