School Uniform

Colden Common Primary School Uniform                                  

Items marked with * can be purchased from Skoolkit (see details below) and will bear the school's logo; however it is not compulsory to have uniform with the school logo and supermarket equivalents are welcome. The school also runs second-hand uniform sales throughout the year, at which low-cost uniform can be purchased.

 

Winter

Dark blue cardigan* or sweatshirt* 

Pale blue polo shirt* or pale blue shirt, tucked in

Grey trousers

Grey skirt (knee-length) or pinafore dress (knee-length)

Grey skirt (knee-length)

Navy/grey/black tights

Navy/grey/black/white socks

Black shoes, not fashion boots, trainers or Crocs

Fleece* for outdoor wear only

Coat – colour optional

Long hair must be tied back with small blue or white hair accessories

Hair must be in an appropriate style for school and must not reflect extremes of fashion

 

Summer

As above or:

  • Light blue and white checked/striped summer dress
  • Grey knee-length shorts
  • Sandals may be worn with socks - no heels, flip flops or Crocs, and we would recommend that toes are closed in

 

 

PE Kit

Trainers, which should be in school at all times

Navy/black shorts

Jogging bottoms in plain blue, grey or black for when the weather is cold (a small brand logo is permitted)                                                               

School House T-shirt*:            Bedivere - Blue

                                                Galahad – Red 

                                                Lamorak - Green

                                                Lancelot - Yellow

                                   

                                                           

Other rules apply:-

  • Plain, stud earrings are the only acceptable form
  • Watches may be worn, but are the responsibility of the child
  • No other jewellery should be worn
  • Nail polish should not be worn
  • All items of clothing should be clearly marked with the pupil’s name
  • P.E. Kit should be kept in a draw-string or similar small bag
  • All belongings brought to school, including coats and lunch boxes, must fit into the child’s locker, which have the dimensions of 42 x 42 x 30 cm. Please therefore consider whether or not your child needs a school bag, and if they do, ensure that the size of the bag will fit comfortably into their locker
  • We also encourage children in Years R and 1 to keep a pair of wellington boots at school
